The following veterinarians have passed the AERC Treatment Veterinarian Examination. The purpose of the program is to encourage treatment veterinarians working endurance rides to familiarize themselves the Guidelines for Judging AERC Endurance Competitions handbook and the Emergency Treatment of Endurance Horses – General Guidelines. The program publicly recognizes those who have taken the time to familiarize themselves with standard treatment of medical conditions and injuries, and also serves as a guide to ride managers in search of a veterinarian who is prepared to serve as a treatment veterinarian at their AERC ride.
Please note that presence on this list does not ensure that the treatment veterinarian is a current AERC member. While a treatment veterinarian need not be a member of AERC, any veterinarian serving as a ride control judge must be a current AERC member.
Treatment veterinarians are listed by the states/provinces in which they are licensed to practice veterinary medicine, at the time that they passed the examination. Please confirm licensure with each veterinarian.
