How long till you top tenned or 'raced'? No desire to race, in my mind it's a hobby, not a sport.

How much time off do you give between ride seasons? Living in So. Calif. the ride season seems to be year round.  I give some time off here and there when I feel he needs it, or when I have other things going on in my life.  When I lived in No. Calif. I was forced, due to the weather, to give time off between ride seasons and I seemed to have more "issues" with the horses than I do by generally keeping them going all the time.

If you have done 100's, how much time off do you give after doing one? What is your schedule in the month leading up to the ride?  No set schedule, just base it on how the horse looks and feels.
