The OD trail encompasses a number of public gravel roads on the valley floors between the Blue Ridge, and the eastern and western ridges of the Massanuttens.  The view of the mountains are spectacular from these roads, and it affords the rider a chance to make up time that will benefit the slower going on the mountain trails.  Photo by Flora Hillman
