Equine Registration
Call the AERC office, 866-271-2372, to register your equine if you wish to receive the registration number right away. This can easily be done during office hours (8-4 Pacific Time) using your Visa or Mastercard.
Always provide the your equine's AERC ID number at all endurance and limited distance events. This ID number will remain with the horse throughout his lifetime.
Each member is given one horse registration free of charge. Additional horses may be registered for a fee of $15 each. Members' dues must be current in order to register an equine.
Did your horse compete in any AERC rides prior to getting an AERC number? If so, phone or e-mail the office with a list of ride name(s), date, distance, rider and placement and your equine will get credit for previous mileage. Please contact the office for complete details on back mileage credit.
To change ownership from one AERC member to another, simply phone the office -- there is no charge for ownership transfers.
For online equine registration, credit card payment is required. The office will mail you a letter informing you of your equine's registration number by U.S. mail. (For quicker service, phone the office!)
The AERC office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Give us a call -- one of the friendly and knowledgeable AERC staffers will be happy to help you.
